In-Home Tutors of Connecticut will launch in August 2008 as the newest office of In-Home Tutors. In-Home Tutors of Atlanta has been serving metro Atlanta since January 2002. In-Home Tutors of Orlando opened in August 2007. All offices are wholly owned by Deo Gloria LLC and are dedicated to providing high-quality tutoring services at fair rates.
Elinor Klein, Director of In-Home Tutors
Connecticut, earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and Secondary Education
from the State University of New York at Geneseo. Most recently, Elinor
worked as the Director of Admissions at The Weber School in Atlanta,
Georgia, and taught college preparatory and honors grammar, composition, and
literature for several years. In 2004, Elinor was recognized as an
outstanding educator in Atlanta, and scored in the top 10% of high school
teachers nationally in American literature concentration. Although this is
In-Home Tutors Connecticut’s first year in operation, Elinor has been
tutoring privately for 5 years. Her tutoring philosophy is that high quality
tutors can engage students at all levels to strengthen skills by finding a
way for each student to personally relate to academic material. On behalf of
the whole In-Home Tutors Connecticut team, Elinor looks forward to helping
your child achieve academic success.
Elinor lives with her husband, Dan, and son in the East Rock/Yale University
neighborhood of New Haven. She is also a certified Wilderness First
Responder and a wilderness experiential educator. Currently, Elinor is
receiving training to become an Iyengar Yoga instructor.
Deo Gloria was founded by Dennis and Deelee Freeman, who have lived in the Atlanta area since 1996. Dennis has an M.A. in Psychology from the University of Cincinnati. Deelee has an M.A. in Communications from the University of Denver. We have four children in the Cobb County school system. Deelee designs and makes wonderful jewelry, available via Deo Gloria Designs. Deo Gloria LLC is based in Roswell, Georgia. Our company is a member of the Better Business Bureau.
